手ごろな大きさかつバランスの良い性能で使いやすかったFMに最高速1/4000シャッターが搭載され、さらに対応力が上がったカメラです。New FM2との違いはストロボシンクロスピードが200から250になったこと。

無印FM2の２年後、New FM2にマイナーチェンジしそれから17年製造販売のロングセラーカメラとなりました。

シンプルな機械式カメラなので写真の基礎を学ぶ方にもおすすめです！

このカメラではAiまたはAi-sレンズのみ対応です。同じニコンでもより古い非Aiレンズは物理的に装着できません。

電池はLR44またはSR44が2個、100均にもあるありふれたものです。 このカメラは電池を入れなくてもシャッターは機械式なので問題なく写真が撮れます。電池を入れると露出計が使えます。
