1973年発売。

使うのは普通の35mmフィルムですが、ハーフ判なのでフィルムに書いてある枚数の倍撮れます！例えば36枚撮りなら72枚。気軽にパチパチ撮れるとっても楽しいカメラです。 撮影時の使い方はフィルムを巻き上げたら、ファインダーを覗いて構図を決めて、シャッターボタンを押すだけ。それだけできれいな写真。距離あわせすら必要ありません。

電池はいりません。レンズの周りのキラキラした所にセレン式太陽電池が入っていて、明るさをちゃんと判断して調整してくれています。 暗いところでは失敗を防ぐセーフティーが効き、ファインダー内に赤ベロが出てシャッターが切れなくなります。

PENシリーズは初代が1959年に発売され、その後80年代はじめまで販売された大ベストセラーカメラです。
